What the numbers say
Lamine Yamal combines a match rating of 8.71 with 1.66 goals and assists every 90 minutes. Raphinha is second on 98.6, ahead of Kylian Mbappé on 97.2. The gap at the top is 0.5 points: one big week can still change the order.
How the index works
Each player gets four scores from 0 to 100 against the other contenders, then a weighted average: 40% average match rating, 30% goals plus assists per 90, 15% expected goals per 90 and 15% minutes played, so a great month off the bench does not beat a great season. Only players with 450 minutes or more count. The table updates itself after every round.
