Match Live
How quickly do scores and goals appear?
Match Live checks for new data every few seconds; a goal usually shows within 10 to 30 seconds of the moment Sportmonks records it. A goal taken back by VAR is shown as no goal.
How do I hear the match sounds?
Open a match in Match Live and press Sounds on. You hear the whistle at kick-off, fouls, cards, half-time and full time, and the crowd at a goal, each named in a banner at the top. Sounds play only on Match Live.
Why does the win probability change during the match?
It is recalculated from the score, the time left, the expected goals so far and red cards, so a goal or a red card moves it straight away.

What is the Model pick?
The one line the model rates on each match, with its chance of paying in full. A highlighted pick is one the model rates above the price; otherwise it shows the cheapest line.
How are the probabilities made?
From each team’s goals and expected goals, the Dixon-Coles score model and the Pi-ratings from this season’s results. The Method page has every formula.
Is it betting advice?
No. The figures are statistical estimates and can be wrong. See the Disclaimers.
Scouting Players Research
What is the Moneyball Score?
A 0 to 100 rating of a player against players of his own position in Europe’s top five leagues, per 90 minutes, with players of few minutes pulled toward their last season and their position’s average.
What does the one-season wonder check mean?
A warning beside a player whose great season may not last: a sudden jump in score, finishing far above his chances, or a sharp fall.
How do I try a player in my team?
In the Club Portal, Team, Squad on the pitch: search any player in Try a signing and drag him onto a position, or tap him and then the position.

How does a club get access?
A club licence is set up by Moneyball Odds. Staff sign in with Google or their email, enter the club code and the club’s passphrase.
Who can see our shortlists and reports?
Only your club’s staff. Everything is encrypted in the browser with the club’s passphrase before it is saved.
How do I add staff or change roles?
An administrator opens Users and roles on the portal’s Home page.
Moneyball FPL League
How do I join?
Open the FPL League page and use the league code shown there in Fantasy Premier League.
How are prizes paid?
The gameweek winner is paid by Wise. We send Wise your name, email and the amount; you give your bank details to Wise, never to us.
Account and profile
How do I sign in?
With Google or with your email address and a password, from Members at the top of the page.
How do I delete my account?
Write to [email protected] from the email of the account; we delete it and its data as the Privacy Policy says.
Comments and live chat
How do I report a comment?
Press Report under it. A moderator reviews it; illegal or abusive content is removed.
Why was my comment removed?
It broke the Terms. You are told why, and you can ask for the decision to be reviewed.
The Android app
Is the app different from the website?
The app is the website made for a phone: the same Match Live, scores and analysis, with a tab bar and a calendar.
Do sounds keep playing outside the app?
With a match open in Match Live and sounds on, the phone keeps the match sounds going in the background, as a music app does.
Technical issues
The page shows old data.
Reload the page. If it stays old, clear the site’s data in the browser settings and reload.
A page is slow.
The first visit downloads the season’s data; later visits reuse it and are much faster. Tell us the page and your device if it stays slow.
